Cornhill House hotel, with its own grounds of some ten acres, overlooks the upper reaches of the river Clyde close to the historic town of Biggar. An excellent road infrastructure provides easy accessibility to the cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh. Both Glasgow and Edinburgh Airport can be reached in just over one hour.

Since opening in August 1998 the hotel has earned an excellent reputation for its services and facilities which now extend to include the recently completed Ballroom Wing. Restoration of the main house has recreated its original elegance whilst the new Ballroom has been cleverly designed to reflect a similar style and ambiance.

A large Reception Hall leads to the Bistro Restaurant, the Lounge Bar, and two small sitting rooms. All bedrooms are located on the first floor which can be accessed via a passenger lift. In the Georgian wing of the building is situated the smaller Jade Restaurant.
