How to find us?
Simple
From the M74 Motorway - Travelling South
Exit the motorway at the No. 12 (Happendon) junction. Go straight through the roundabout and travel approx one and a half miles to the next roundabout where you take the first left onto the A70.
Pass through Rigside and carry on for approx 6 miles to traffic lights at Hyndford Bridge where you proceed straight through. You are now on the A73.
Follow this route for approx 6 miles to a left turn to Biggar. (A72) In approx 2 miles, you will reach Wolfclyde Bridge with the telephone box where you take a right onto Cornhill Road. The gate to Cornhill House lies just around the bend.
Alternatively
From M74 Motorway - Travelling South
Exit the motorway at No.13 (Abington) junction. Pass Abington services and drive straight through the roundabout onto the A702 Biggar/Edinburgh road.
Proceed approx eight miles to Coulter and as you leave the village look out for a sign on the left indicating a left turn in 600 metres onto Cornhill Road. The gate to Cornhill house lies near the far end of Cornhill Road.
From M74 Motorway - Travelling North
Exit the motorway at either No 13 Abington or No 12 Happendon Junction and proceed as directed above.
Cornhill House from Lanark
Keep to the main road through Lanark until you reach the traffic lights on Hyndford Bridge, approx one mile. Over the bridge, turn left and you are on the A73. Proceed approx six miles until you see a large sign for Biggar indicating a left turn onto theA72.
Travel along the A72 past Symington to the Wolfclyde Bridge approx two miles where you turn right into Cornhill Road. The gate to Cornhill House lies just around the bend
Cornhill House from Edinburgh
Leave the city on the A702 (Biggar/Lanark Rd)- this is the main trunk road which eventually links to the M74 Motorway.
Proceed on the A702 for approx twenty-seven miles to Biggar. On the far side of the town about half a mile from its outer limit, you will see a right turn to Lanark (theA72).
Turn right and proceed one mile to Wolfclyde Bridge (with telephone box) Turn left here onto Cornhill Road. The main gate to the hotel lies just around the bend.
